Welcome to Fernpoint Hotel and Seafood Restaurant on the shores of Loch Fyne,
at Inveraray in beautiful Argyll.
This Georgian house hotel is situated in a magnificent setting at the gateway to the Western Highlands and has superb views over the picturesque loch. The house was built between 1748 and 1752 on grounds gifted by the Duke of Argyll for assistance during the 1746 rebellion.

Fernpoint is located on the banks of Loch Fyne in the centre of historic Inveraray.
Inveraray is ideally located for exploring Argyll and, in particular, its many famous waters. This pretty town is located on the banks of Loch Fyne, with Loch Awe to the north and Loch Lomond and Loch Long to the east.
The New Town of Inveraray was built between 1753 and 1776. It is one of the earliest and best preserved planned towns in Scotland. It was created a Burgh of Barony by James III in 1474 and a Royal Burgh in 1648 by Charles I.
The A82 and A83 provide the main road access to/from Glasgow and the rest of Scotland and travellers to the Mull of Kintyre (by road) invariably pass through Inveraray.
